A connection is one screen watching at a given moment. Count the screens likely to be on at the same time in your home, not the number of devices with the app installed.
1 connection · Solo
For one person watching on one screen at a time: the living-room TV in the evening, a phone on the commute.

For a couple or a flat share: two different programmes at once, for example in the living room and a bedroom.

Start from the number of screens that might be on at the same time. A single viewer usually chooses Solo, a couple Duo and a family Trio. The number of devices with the app installed doesn’t count; only screens watching simultaneously are limited.
Look at concrete criteria rather than promises: how many screens can watch at once, whether your devices are supported, whether set-up is explained, whether the terms are clearly stated and whether you can test first. Those criteria, not a ranking, tell you which service fits your home.
Make sure your device can install an IPTV player app, that your broadband is stable and that the plan covers the number of screens you need. Read the order terms, including the length, renewal and refunds, before you pay, and remember that TV Licence rules apply to live TV however you watch it.
It’s the number of screens that can play something at the same moment. With Duo, two screens can watch at once; a third will have to wait until one of them stops. You can still install the app on as many devices as you like.
One month lets you get to know the service without a long commitment; three or six months suit you if you already know it works for you; twelve months saves you renewing often. Use the length selector above to compare each option.

Yes, a player app on each device you want to watch on. You enter your login details once; the guide for your device shows where to find them in the menus.
It’s a good idea if you have never used IPTV on your device. The trial lasts 24 hours on one device and costs €2, so you can check the set-up and picture quality before choosing a plan. If you then subscribe, the €2 is deducted from your subscription price.
