Set-up advice by device
For each type of device: where to find the player app and what to check before you start.
Fire TV
IPTV players install from the Amazon Appstore or, for some apps, through the Downloader app once you’ve allowed apps from unknown sources in the developer options.
Android
Install the player from the Google Play Store. On a phone, use Wi-Fi where you can so you don’t eat into your mobile data.
Android TV
The player installs from the Google Play Store on the TV or box. The remote is all you need to enter your login details.
Smart TV
Which apps are available depends on the TV’s operating system and age. If there’s no suitable player, a streaming stick or box plugged into an HDMI port lets you add one.
Samsung TV
Look for players in Samsung’s app store on the TV. What’s available varies with the model and the year it was made.
LG TV
Players are listed in the LG Content Store. As with Samsung, the choice depends on the model, so check your webOS version first.
iPhone
Install a player from the App Store. Depending on the app, you’ll enter Xtream Codes details or an M3U link.
Apple TV
Players for tvOS install from the App Store on the Apple TV. Keep your login details to hand, as you’ll enter them with the remote.
Windows
Use a desktop IPTV player or an app from the Microsoft Store. An Ethernet cable often makes the picture more stable.
macOS
Install a player from the Mac App Store or the developer’s website, then enter your Xtream Codes details or your M3U link.
